POSITION: CHAPTER PRESIDENT
The President is the lead officer of the Chapter responsible for calling and presiding at Chapter board meetings as well as providing direction to other officers, members of the board and the members of the Chapter.

POSITION: CHAPTER VICE PRESIDENT/PRESIDENT-ELECT
The vice president and/or president-elect generally assist and assume responsibilities of the president when s/he is not available.

POSITION: SECRETARY
The Secretary maintains the records and rosters for the chapter, duties generally include: taking minutes at regular and special board meetings, sending meeting notices and agendas accompanied by minutes.

POSITION: TREASURER
The Treasurer acts as the chief financial officer of the Chapter and manages all income and expenses, bank accounts and financial records.

POSITION: PROGRAM & EDUCATION CHAIR & CO-CHAIR
The Program & Education Co-Chairs provides leadership to the board and program committee in developing plans for and implementation of educational and professional development offerings to the members and its broader healthcare audience.

POSITION: OUTREACH CHAIR & CO-CHAIR
The Outreach Chair provides leadership to the board and outreach committee in developing member recruitment and retention activities, setting annual membership goals, and evaluating member satisfaction. In addition, they are responsible for developing appropriate print and electronic communication vehicles to reach the Chapter’s targeted audiences.

POSITION: TECHNOLOGY CHAIR
The web chair provides leadership to the program and membership committees in developing and maintaining the Chapter’s website.

POSITION: SPONSORSHIP CHAIR
The Sponsorship Chair initiates and maintains vendor relationships, develops sponsorship opportunities, prepares annual & event sponsorship plans, and enhances member benefits through various sponsorship opportunities.

POSITION: ADVOCACY CHAIR
The Advocacy Chair initiates and provides leadership and support to the Board of Directors (BOD) as well as report all National, State and Local HIMSS Advocacy updates to the entire chapter.

POSITION: MEMBER-AT-LARGE
The Member-at-Large represents the interests of the general membership and conducts projects and accepts duties as assigned by the President and the Board of Directors.
